    Successful candidate is expected to meet the following criteria:

    • Have in-depth knowledge of federal government contracting compliance.
    • Demonstrate strong presentation, writing and interpersonal skills.
    • Possess excellent organizational and record keeping skills, with attention to detail.
    • Have ability to independently analyze laws/regulations and develop compliance materials in response.
    • Have ability and willingness to demonstrate highest ethical standards and strong commitment to Company’s values.
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in relevant degree program.
    • Work Experience: Minimum three-five years of compliance and/or legal experience.


    • Working knowledge of Quality Assurance, ISO 9001, 20000, 27001 and CMMI L3/4 framework requirements and ability to implement and audit programs under the frameworks.
    • Working knowledge of NIST 800-171 requirements and understanding of applicability and implementation.
    • Education: Master’s or Juris Doctor degree.
    • Certifications: Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional ("CCEP" or CCEP-I") or equivalent.


    The Compliance Specialist II position will be a function within the Business Operations Department of an information technology (IT) federal government contractor and will report to the General Counsel. This position will involve the essential duties of managing compliance activities and directly supporting activities of the Office of General Counsel, including but not limited to:

    • developing and implementing ethics and compliance program activities, policies and procedures;
    • performing risk assessments;
    • tracking and reporting on compliance activities;
    • conducting internal training;
    • conducting internal audits;
    • auditing compliance and managing auditing functions;
    • conducting confidential investigations;
    • overseeing the development and implementation of corrective and preventative action plans;
    • providing support for activities of the Office of General Counsel, as assigned;
    • analyzing complex U.S. and foreign laws, regulations related to federal contracting, and providing written and verbal summaries and trends.

    This position is expected to work closely with the Quality Assurance function to assist in management of audits and activities supporting ISO 9001, 20000, 27001 and CMMI (Level 3/4) compliance. This position requires an experienced individual with ability to strategically and creatively address compliance challenges and work effectively with employees to obtain buy-in for compliance initiatives.
