    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems) from an accredited university. 
    • Certification(s): Sec+CE
    • Clearance: Must have the ability to obtain a Position of Trust/ADPII clearance.
    • Experience:
      • Position specific: 7-12 years on a program of similar size/complexity in both an Infrastructure Architecture and Engineering capacity and as a data architecture (or work with a data warehouse).
      • Client specific: Experience working external providers (preferably DISA and DHA) primarily working with leadership on system or architecture changes and network &systems engineers/administrators on implementation
    • Technical Skills/Competencies:
      • Possess or ability to obtain Comp TIA Security+ certification
      • Applications:Oracle Federal Financials, Weblogic, Documentum, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), PRISM, SharePoint,
      • Operating Systems: UNIX, Solaris, Windows 
      • DBMS & Tools:Oracle, Oracle Internet Directory (OID), Cloud Control, Oracle Application Manager, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)

    Responsibilities

    Pending contract award.  IntelliDyne LLC is seeking a highly versatile infrastructure architect & engineer who will be supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA) in Aurora, CO.  The candidate filling this role will be a lead technical resource performing software, network, and systems support.  This position will be on a team that is primarily responsible for maintaining, operating, and providing engineering and technical support to an Oracle Federal Financials (OFF) based e-Commerce system.  This role is responsible for architecture, engineering, administration, and maintenance of the existing custom software and advising on the feasibility of future projects.  This position requires a hands-on individual capable of and willing to perform in an engineering capacity and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.  Experience interfacing with external service providers is a requirement.

     

    The position’s duties will include but will not be limited to:

    • Working with DISA-hosted software applications running in Virtual Operating Environments (VOEs) within the Defense Enterprise Computing Center (DECC)
    • Administering with Windows, Linux, and UNIX (Solaris) Virtual Guest Operating Systems
    • Supporting platforms that include systems in various environments including:  development, test, quality assurance, and production
    • Supporting Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software and tools support to include: Administration, upgrades, maintenance of the existing software, extensions, and configurations
    • Performing corrective maintenance of custom software to include: Identifying and correcting application performance errors (e.g. software mis-configuration or processing errors); Coordination for activities supporting and troubleshooting web-based applications executing on remote computing environments and networks
    • Advise of feasibility of potential future projects to management
    • Lead and perform upgrades of Operating System and Application infrastructure
    • The infrastructure architect will act as the liaison between DISA and the EOSS program and will need to:
    • Provide high-level infrastructure expertise to clients, managers, and technical staff  
    • Develop architectural products and deliverables for the EOSS program
    • Be the primary point of contact between the EOSS team and DISA, coordinate activities that bring teams together to achieving measurable results
    • Develop strategy of system and the design infrastructure necessary to support changes DISA may make that impact the EOSS program
    • Advise on selection of technological decisions with regards to platform, upgrades, and applications

    • Technical:
      • The ability to learn new technologies quickly at an architectural and engineering level
      • Familiarity with the DoDAF Enterprise Architecture Frameworks
    • Operational:
      • Experience working with Defense Information System Agency (DISA) is strongly preferred
      • Be a go-getter who can see the big picture of client goals/strategy and able to engineer at a lower level
      • The ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements and technical designs.
    • Professional:
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the aptitude to know the audience and communicate in both business and technical terms within the same meeting
      • Effectiveness in collaborating with multiple stakeholders to achieve objectives
